The School of Integrative Studies offers a distinctive experience that addresses contemporary social, global, and environmental challenges. Based in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, SIS focuses on critical and creative thinking, effective communication and diversity in thought. Graduates will lead the way as a new brand of professionals whose understanding of traditional liberal arts and commitment to a just world can build the cross-sector approaches necessary to solve pressing social and environmental problems.
On April 16, seven CHSS faculty and staff were recognized with George Mason University Outstanding Achievement Awards, which celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of Mason’s faculty and staff across several awards categories.
On Feb. 21-22, more than 4,000 students made their way through the Johnson Center’s Dewberry Hall, speaking to 240 potential employers. Over the two days, George Mason University’s Spring Career Fair 2024 gave students and alumni opportunities to further their career aspirations. The first day focused on science, technology, engineering, and math-related fields, and the second focused on business, government, and nonprofit organizations.
